The Owl Music Parlor – Brooklyn’s new concert venue showcasing innovative modern music and groundbreaking musicians.
Since opening Fall of 2015 the simple, intimate space has been host to an intriguing array of unique experimental, instrumental and singer/songwriter acts and projects.
Owned and curated by Oren Bloedow, co-founder of the experimental rock band Elysian Fields, The Owl, located in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn, New York, is a joint effort with bandmate and musical collaborator, Jennifer Charles.
In the spirit of musically pioneering lower Manhattan 90’s venues like Tonic and the original Knitting Factory, The Owl hopes to bring to Brooklyn an engaging, genuine concert experience for both artists and audiences.
The two room venue features a seated performance space including a grand piano and a professional-grade speaker system, and bar serving beer, wine and hot and cold beverages.
