Composer, improviser, and visual artist Borey Shin makes synth ballads, ambient music, animations, chamber music, and moody songs. He works with minimal means to create delicately undulating soundscapes using pianos, synthesizers, accordions, and other keyboard instruments.

Ellie Shannon is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who lives with her wife Jamie in Brooklyn. She was born and raised in Los Angeles; where she started studying french horn as a teenager. Her music looks inward and downward with influences as disparate as Janacek, Mike Seeger and Wendy Eisenberg. She collaborates with various local musicians including Paco Cathcart, Matt Bachmann, Sammy Weissberg and Mike Kolb.

Jamie Weil is a songwriter who very much wishes to stay in Brooklyn for the rest of her life. Her songs are like water—rippling fingerpicked melodies and poetry that sometimes teeters on the edge of abstraction. Jamie hasn’t yet found a way to turn the creative hose off, but she promises the best scientists are working on it. She just released the album she wrote about her wife Ellie when they met over three years ago. Buy her a Dr. Pepper!

Polsky West is the collaborative composition project of Maya Polsky and Lulu West. Maya and Lulu write music that combines contemporary classical textures and  folk songwriting melodies infused with improvisational spirit. They aim to to make music that is welcoming and inclusive without compromising on complexity. In March, 2025, Polsky West released their debut album, “Polsky West Live at the Stone Circle Theater.” You can learn more about Maya and Lulu’s individual work at luluwestluluwest.com and mayapolskymusic.com
