His potent guitar playing recalls the deep roots of blues and jazz in both tone and technique while intertwining a soulful feel with post punk inspired melodies. The addition of Taylor’s soothing, percussive vocals and hypnotizing lead lines and rhythms, create a truly entrancing sound from this Cleveland born artist.
A technician of the sacred, Adam Lytle writes songs that explore the darker regions of the heart. Wielding the language of the unconscious, he confronts the ordinary with the arcane, summoning radical transformations with each sonorous figure played on his Spanish guitar. With its striking lyricism and evocative arrangements, his solo debut, This is the Fire introduces a new voice in the haunted tower of longing where the likes of Leonard Cohen and Scott Walker reside.
With her acoustic indie soul and crystal-clear songwriting, the Berlin-based singer and guitarist Anna Hauss touches everyone who has a soft spot for profound songs. In her groove-accentuated, thoughtful songs, that are carried by her great voice, she is able to whisper deeply and float soprano bright. On 09/29/23 her new album ‚how long is now‘ will be out!
