  Lau Noah (1994) is a Catalan self-taught composer, multi-instrumentalist and artist based in New York City.
  Praised by distinguished musicians for the astounding counterpoint work, her unique approach to music composition has made her a sought after act for workshops and master-classes for several music conservatories and universities all over the world. In February 2019 Noah performed a Tiny Desk Concert making her the first Catalan to ever perform in the prestigious series.

  The Tether Trio, Theo Bleckmann – vox / Timo Vollbrecht – sax / Ben Monder – guitar, derives its name from the intertwining of sonic landscapes and musical ideas that these 3, free-thinking, musicians merge into one. Together, Theo, Timo, and Ben weave together seamlessly intimate and delicate sonic textures into a highly personal and pastoral sound. By blending electronic and acoustic timbres, their music breathes and unfolds gradually and majestically. Theo Bleckmann and Ben Monder (both multiple Grammy-nominees and ECM recording artists) have a long-standing collaboration of performing and recording (in duo and other ensembles) for over 25 years. The prolific saxophonist Timo Vollbrecht is a perfect extension of their aesthetic and integrates electronics and sonic space as an equal player. They first found together to perform for the Fajr Music Festival in Iran. Theo remembers: “We were astonished by how closely tethered our musical ideas were right from the beginning, and how we often could not tell one voice apart from another. Our name is a tribute to the magic of this musical merging.”
