Based in Brooklyn NY, guitarist/mutli-instrumentalist Ofir Ganon is Israeli born of Moroccan descent, has formed various projects of free improvised/noise groups, as well as composition based groups, and solo compositions. He has collaborated with musicians such as Arto Lindsay, Greg Saunier (Deerhoof), Janka Nabay, Zach Hill and Andy Morin (Death Grips) and Luke Temple.

Eliot Krimsky is a Brooklyn-based composer and songwriter.  His latest release, Phase of Light, is based on synth improvisations Krimsky made while looking out of his neighbors’ window at dusk during the pandemic. It’s tempting to say that the music Phase of Light is slow, but that’s not quite right — it’s more like it’s unhurried.  It unfolds inexorably, like the sun coming up over the horizon and gradually lighting up the sky, or the full moon passing behind a nighttime skyscraper. Krimsky was the singer and keyboardist of the band Glass Ghost — described by Time Out New York as “weird and mournful yet highly rhythmic” —- for which he produced two albums: Idol Omen (2009) and LYFE (2015). He has collaborated with numerous artists including Meshell Ndegeocello, Robert Stillman, Domino Kirke and Here We Go Magic, and performed at venues worldwide including the O2 Arena, Lincoln Center and the BAM Next Wave Festival. His film compositions can be heard on Hulu, the New York Times Op-Docs, PBS and Netflix.

Continuing with their tradition of composing sonnets to beloved, albeit often fabricated relatives,

the Schimscheimer Family Trio’s 3rd album “Genogram” is a musical voyage into an unhinged family reunion–a multidimensional soundscape of sometimes delicate, other times maniacal moments. The band is made up of these Bay Area/NYC based instrumentalists: Kasey Knudsen, known widely for her work with Fred Frith,, tUnE-yArDs, and many others. She leads her own group, the Kasey Knudsen Sextet, as well as co-leading the Holly Martins. Michael Coleman, whose striking individual sound is coaxed from an array of vintage synths & various effects pedals, is a tireless bandleader & plays with Beep!, Ben Goldberg, Naytronix, Sean Hayes, and Young Nudist. Jon Arkin, a versatile drummer with a penchant for digital instrument construction, actively performs in a wide variety of musical genres, with artists such as Gene Perla, Lee Konitz, Ian Carey, and Jordan Glenn.
