    Dorée is a NYC based singer-songwriter whose work combines alternative pop, folk, classical & jazz. She’s taking a gap year from New England Conservatory to write, perform, and develop her craft. With an all original repertoire, Dorée has played in NYC & Boston at The Bitter End, Piano’s Lounge & The Corner Art Room. She is working at Big Orange Sheep Recording Studio in Industry City, Brooklyn

    Jay Gandhi’s music is a reflection of an eclectic array of musical influences and years of training under the inimitable legend of the bansuri, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia. He is a world traveling performer, educator and a founding member of the Brooklyn Raga Massive, a groundbreaking NYC musicians collective.
     
    Jay has been immersed in Hindustani classical music from his childhood, beginning with vocal training under Smt. Kum Kum Sanyal and bansuri training from Pt. Ronu Majumdar and other prominent players. He has performed with many renowned artists from India and beyond, including his Guru Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasiaji, the late Pandit Jasrajji, Pandit Nayan Ghosh, Reggie Workman, Ravi Coltrane, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Yacouba Sissoko (Mali), Noura Mint Seymali (Mauritania), Amir El-Safar, Adam Rudolph, Abhik Mukherjee and many others. He has recorded with sarodist Alam Khan’s Grand Tapestry, Adam Rudolph’s “Ragmala” and Brooklyn Raga Massive’s “In D”, and for the upcoming Hollywood feature film “Prisoners of Paradise”.
