    Martin Nevin is a Brooklyn-based composer and bassist. He has performed and/or recorded with notable artists such as Albert “Tootie” Heath, Billy Hart, Greg Osby, Jason Moran, Ambrose Akinmusire, Ethan Iverson, and Aaron Parks, in venues across the U.S and abroad. Martin’s debut as a leader, Tenderness is Silent, was released in 2017. In that same year he was awarded a grant by the American Composers Forum to compose Scratch at the Same Table, a song cycle based on the poetry of Jonathan C. Creasy. Martin holds a B.M. from Manhattan School of Music and an M.A. from Columbia University.

    Alex LoRe has been praised by the New York Times as a saxophonist who is “…making the connections among about 70 years’ worth of contemplative, articulate and light-toned players.” He has recorded on over two dozen albums as a side musician and released three albums under his own name — “Dream House” (2014) and “More Figs and Blue Things” (2016) on acclaimed saxophonist Greg Osby’s Inner Circle Music label, and most recently “Karol” (2019) on Challenge Records International. LoRe is a Boston Sax Shop Artist and is on teaching staff at the New School College of Performing Arts in Manhattan. He currently lives in Brooklyn. with Glenn Zaleski on piano, Des White on bass, and Allan Mednard,drums
