    Alexandra Ridout Trio: 

    “The trio is a relatively new project which is collaborative in nature. We all have similar avenues of influence in the music we like and write, whilst each having our own unique input. The sound of trumpet in the drumless trio is fairly rare and we have worked on making a trio sound that resonates with us. The trumpet can be so versatile and this trio explores a lot of that. We play a mix of original music written specifically for this trio sound as well as some of our favourite music that we play in our own way”
