Dear beloved friends and family, I am so sorry to say we have decided to cancel tonight’s show at the Owl out of an abundance of caution and concern over rising cases here in NYC. We will do this show sometime in the new year, hopefully when this wave has come and gone and it feels like a safer time.  I will be going live on my instagram around 8PM to play a few tunes, if youre home and looking for some music!

Sending light and love to you all and hope to see you sooner than later,
    Love,
    Ali

Ali Dineen is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Queens. She performs her original music regularly in New York City and across the so-called United States. Her lyrics are poetic and deeply personal, and highlight the intersections between personal experience, larger histories, and systems of power. Ali has performed at the Museum of Art and Design, the Caramoor American Roots Music Festival, the American Folk Art Museum, and the Brooklyn Folk Festival, and was awarded the Helene Wurlitzer Foundations Residency in Taos, New Mexico. She also works with local puppet troupe extraordinaire The Boxcutter Collective, and is part of a duet with the inimitable Feral Foster. Ali released her third album, Hold On, in 2020, and is currently working on a song cycle about Joan of Arc.
