    Wendy Eisenberg’s solo set will be featuring songs that are a meditation on work and love – how they intersect, how they interact with each other, how they drain, how they rehabilitate. It seems fitting for this meditation to take place on an instrument that is relatively foreign to Wendy; distance can offer perspective.
     
    Some (more) Short Songs is Amanda Ekery’s (voice) third release, is produced by Sylvie Courvoisier and was funded by Chamber Music America. The album highlights her whimsical avant jazz pop style and features Andrew Boudreau (piano), Wendy Eisenberg (guitar), David Leon (alto sax), and Lim Yang (bass).
