    Pianist, keyboardist and composer James Carney is a Brooklyn-based award-winning improviser who draws inspiration from many different sources of music, and has worked with a wide variety of great musicians and artists throughout his career. He has cultivated a reputation for developing an original, polystylistic approach to making music – a philosophy that respects and explores both tradition and the avant-garde. Carney will be joined by saxophonist Michaël Attias with Richard Bonnet, guitar; Melvin Bauer, drums. The music will feature avant-garde improvisations and music by Carney & Bonnet.
