After discovering jazz at the Artists Collective and Academy of the Arts, Sean went on to study at the Hartt School of Music under the tutelage of Jackie Mclean, Nat Reeves, Andy LaVerne and many others. After graduating, he moved to New York City, making a name for himself performing with Cyrille Aimée, Steve Davis, Gene Jackson, Warren Wolf, and many others. In 2017, he received 2nd prize at the Jarek Smietana International Jazz Guitar Competition in Krakow as well as the jury prize which afforded him the opportunity to record an album at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
