Ali Dineen has been performing her original music and songs from the American folk tradition in New York and across the United States for the past several years, drawing upon music ranging from 1920s American jazz to Eastern European polyphony. Her lyrics are poetic and deeply personal, using narrative to draw connections between personal experience and larger histories. Audiences across the country have been captivated by her breathtaking voice and the power of her songs’ messages. When not performing her original music, Ali also works with various projects including the Crimson Ragdolls and Bread and Puppet Theater, and works as a music educator. She is based in New York City.

Dawn Landes is a Nashville based singer-songwriter whose music you might have heard if you watch The Good Wife, House or Gossip Girl. Along with releasing five albums since 2005 (and an EP inspired by yé-yé, ‘60s French pop music), she’s collaborated with the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Norah Jones and composer Nico Muhly. She has appeared with the Boston Pops, the NYC Ballet and on the TED main stage. Dawn’s most recent LP “Meet Me at the River” (Yep Roc) was recorded with legendary producer Fred Foster (Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton). She’s currently writing the songs for a new musical called ROW about the first woman to row across the Atlantic Ocean, in development with Williamstown Theater Festival.
