    Jonathon Crompton’s Intuit – Album Release Party
    Alto saxophonist Jonathon Crompton has formed a star-studded band that features contributions from Ingrid Laubrock and Patrick Breiner on tenor saxophone, augmented by a rhythm section made up of bassist Adam Hopkins and drummer Kate Gentile. On Inuit, his debut release, Crompton explores the expressive potential of his primary instrument within a program of diverse compositions.     The album is being described as nimble and rhythmically complex, showing a deft bandleader on the verge.

    Saxophonist/clarinetist Mike McGinnis explores his compositions of the late 90’s with musicians who’ve been digesting the material for over two decades.  McGinnis categorizes his music as “Open Stream” because is influenced by too many music streams to fit into one genre.  They recorded their debut CD in 1999 for the RKM Music label.
